Who we are
We employ experts in the provision of consensus-based pricing services for all of the major financial and commodities derivatives markets. The head of pricing in each asset class has a minimum of 15 years of directly relevant experience which has allowed us to develop pricing services that meet all of our customers’ requirements in today’s highly regulated markets.
Involved in the financial sector since 1993, Nigel has covered front office roles including interest rate and precious metals trading. Since 2002 he has been at the forefront of the consensus valuations industry developing products and leading businesses.
Starting his career in 1986 Tim has held a number of spearheading roles in trading, risk management and product control for major European banks.
Tim co-created the concept of consensus pricing in 1997 providing benchmark data for all OTC derivatives markets.
More recently he works as a non-executive director, adviser and serial investor in carefully selected technology based companies in a wide range of industries.
Adam has been working in equity derivatives trading and valuation since 1998. He was a market maker in listed equity options before trading volatility arbitrage strategies at a hedge fund.
Prior to joining Skylight IPV, Adam enjoyed 12 years at a leading data provider providing valuation services for vanilla and exotic OTC equity derivative products.
Richard has worked in the financial sector since 1995 and has experience in a variety of technology and interest rate derivative roles. Prior to joining Skylight IPV, he spent 9 years heading up the provision of valuations across a wide range of Interest Rates products at a leading data vendor.
Richard holds a PhD in Mathematical Modelling from the University of Bath.
Mark has been working in the banking and finance industry since 1996 and has 10 years experience in investment bank control departments where he gained crucial experience in complex FX and Rates derivatives valuations at a major global investment bank.
Prior to joining Skylight IPV, Mark spent over 11 years at a leading financial data provider specialising in FX derivatives, where he most recently headed up the global FX consensus service business.
Richard has been working in the commodities markets since 2000. He started his career in audit at one of the big four accounting firms before moving into product control for a major international investment bank.
Since 2004 Richard has been designing and building commodity valuation services becoming one of the industry’s most experienced IPV specialists.
Raph is responsible for providing the technological resources and infrastructure to allow Skylight IPV to work with efficiency. He moved into the financial industry in 2002 and, whilst studying for his Master’s degree, started a position with a major provider of consensus valuations.
Raph has an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Cass Business School.
James spent three years working as a business analyst with a major global bank prior to joining a leading provider of consensus pricing data in 2002. Over the next 14 years he developed services providing valuations on a wide range of FX derivatives before joining Skylight IPV.
James has certification from the Professional Risk Managers International Association.
Lee is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Skylight IPV’s business providing additional support to the product team with his work on modelling and development of analytical algorithms.
In 2005 Lee joined a market leading data vendor working in a variety of roles including the provision of equity derivative valuations and as Head of XVA.
Lee has certification from the Professional Risk Managers International Association.
Ashley is responsible for leading the design and implementation of all software at Skylight IPV. Since 2006 Ashley has worked in software development within the financial services industry with a special focus on derivative pricing and distributed computing. He is also a keen advocate of open-source software, and has made contributions to several notable projects including the Play web framework, and the Scala build tool.
